1. Assertive :- The music is very sweet.
Exclamatory :- How sweet the music is !
2. Assertive :- I wish that spring were eternal.
Exclamatory :- Would that spring were eternal !
3. Assertive :- It is sad that my mother has died.
Exclamatory :- Alas! my mother has died.
4. Assertive :- I wish that I were born in a free country.
Exclamatory :- Oh that I were born in a free country !
5. Assertive :- I wish that I were a princess.
Exclamatory :- Would that I were a princess !
