Rule - 3
कुछ Noun देखने में singular लगते हैं लेकिन अर्थ में plural होते हैं, अतः इनके बाद plural verb प्रयुक्त होता है, जैसे - People, Cattle (मवेशी),Poultry(घरेलू मुर्ग़ी, बत्तख़ आदि), Vermin(अन्न इत्यादि को हानि पहुँचाने वाला कीड़ा), Gentry, Police, Militry, Public आदि शब्दों में 's' नहीं लगाना चाहिए।जैसे -
(1) Cattle are grazing in the field.
(2) The gentry of this town are not invited.
(3) The police have arrested the thief.
(4) The people of America are rich.
(5) The militry of India are going to destroy the enemies.
