Phrasal Verb

जब verbs के पश्चात् विभिन्न Prepositions या Adverbial Particles लगा दिए जाते हैं , तब उनका अर्थ बदल जाता है।ऐसे verbs को Phrasal Verbs कहते हैं। 

1. Break away - 

 Meaning (अर्थ) - to free oneself (स्वतन्त्र होना)    

 Use in Sentence (वाक्य प्रयोग) - The elephants broke away from the zoo. 

2. Come about - 

 Meaning (अर्थ) - happen (घटित होना)   

 Use in Sentence (वाक्य प्रयोग) - I cannot tell you how it came about; I was not there.

3. Get along - 

 Meaning (अर्थ) - manage somehow (काम चलाना)    

 Use in Sentence (वाक्य प्रयोग) - She tries to get along with her means.

4. Look up - 

 Meaning (अर्थ) - to find out (खोजना)    

 Use in Sentence (वाक्य प्रयोग) - Look up this word in some dictionary.

5. Set out - 

 Meaning (अर्थ) - left for (यात्रा पर जाना)  

 Use in Sentence (वाक्य प्रयोग) - The pilgrims have set out for KedarNath.
