Rule K- over और above का प्रयोग

- इन दोनों का हो अर्थ 'ऊपर' है। जब एक वस्तु दूसरी वस्तु के ऊपर लम्ब रूप से हो तो 'over' का प्रयोग होता है। जब एक वस्तु दूसरी वस्तु के ऊपर तो हो परन्तु पहली वस्तु के साथ लंबवात रूप से ना हो तो 'above' का प्रयोग होता है,जैसे-

1.The plane flew over my head.

2.The sky is above our head.

Rule L- behind तथा after का प्रयोग

- behind का प्रयोग 'पीछे' के अर्थ में किया जाता है, जैसे-

3.He did not look behind.

4.The dog walks behind its master.

- after का प्रयोग 'के पीछे' , 'के बाद' के अर्थ में किया जाता है, जैसे-

5.The constable ran after a thief.

6.She came after sunset.
